He is survived by: his wife Doris Moody Whaley of Potters Hill, NC; his children, Joey Whaley (Heather) of Potters Hill, NC, Cathy Whaley of Potters Hill, NC and Janet Lowell (Brian); his grandchildren, Landon Hale (Emily), Lindsey McLamb (Blake), Elliott Edwards (Olivia), Kaylee Voytek (Jared), Mackenzie Whaley, Mason Whaley, Avery Padgett, Sophia Lowell, Stella Lowell, Emily Pate (Josh) and Ellie Williams (Blain); and his great grandchildren, Chasen McLamb, Chesley McLamb, Oliver Hale, Kai Voytek, Weston Voytek, Olivia Pate, Owen Pate and Ayden Hinson.
