She was predeceased by: her spouse A. V. Jones; her sister Vonnie Futrell; her parents, Joe Houston and Rosella Houston; and her siblings, Annette Houston, Alex Houston and Cecil Houston.
She is survived by: her children, Curtis Jones (Valorie) of Richlands, NC, Kendall Jones of Willamston, NC and Carla Lanoza (Don); and her sisters, Ester Sumner of Pink Hiil, NC and Tiny Sumner of Pink Hill, NC.
