She was predeceased by: her husband Ted Mercer; and her grandson Caleb Ivy Mercer. She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Mercer of Beulaville, Chris Mercer (Georgia) of Kinston and David Mercer (Amanda) of Pink Hill; her brother Troy Alex Turner (Linda) of Pink Hill; her sisters-in-law, Marie Turner of Goldsboro, Peggy Turner of Beulaville and Melinda Turner of Pink Hill; her grandchildren, Seth Mercer (Victoria), Holt Mercer (Kurstin) and Keelia House (Garrett); her great grandchildren, Addison Griffin, Ava Mercer, Fallon Mercer, Riley Mercer, Scarlett House, Hallie House, Christopher Burkett and Drew Bostic; and her friend Gail Rogers.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the East Duplin Memorial Gardens (2192 NC-24, Beulaville, NC 28518).
