It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Claude Risdon Thompson of Biscoe, North Carolina, who passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Risdon Webster and Ariel Mae Cole Thompson; and his wife Shirley Byrd Thompson. He is survived by : his sons, Rev. Chuck Thompson (Debbie) of Apex, Donnie Thomspon (Sharon) of Candor, Barry Thompson (Kim) of Candor and Eric Thompson (Heather) of Wilmington; and his siblings, JoAnn Greene (Cecil) of Biscoe and Hugh Thompson (Diane) of Myrtle Beach, SC. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
