Horace Lee Blake Obituary

We announce the death of Horace Lee Blake (Biscoe, North Carolina), who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 71. Horace will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvard Lee Blake and Pauline Chappell Blake; and his sister Paula Blake Massey. He is survived by: his children, Heather Cole (Steve), Tery Williamson and Waylon Blake (Shalana); his grandchildren, Christian, Stevie, Jackson, Emma, Waylon, Eli, Adysson, Lucas and Gatlin; and his great grandchildren, Nova and Robert.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Briggs Candor Funeral Home (187 Farmers Market Rd, Biscoe, NC 27209). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Blake Cemetery.
