She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Winford and Wilie Entis Spikes Batten; her husband James Atlas Williamson; her son James Arnold Williamson; and her siblings, Elizabeth Batten, Helen Batten, Eleanor Brewster, Winford Batten, Eugene "Nood" Batten and W. L. "Doc" Batten.
She is survived by: her daughters, Audrey McDowell of Raeford and Barbara Hayes of Seagrove; her daughter-in-law Carlene Williamson of Biscoe; her brother Carl R. Batten of Springfield, TN; and her pet Snoopy. She is also survived by five grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (216 S Main St, Star, NC 27356). A graveside service was held on Sunday, August 23rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Biscoe Cemetery (480 N Main St, Biscoe, NC 27209).
