She was predeceased by: her son Gurnie Greene, Jr.; and her granddaughter Sherry Greene. She is survived by: her husband Gurnie Edison Greene, Sr.; her son Roger Greene of Asheboro; her daughter-in-law Helen Greene of Eagle Springs; her grandchildren, Josh Greene and Amy Jordan (John); and her sister Darnell. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
