He was predeceased by: his parents, Worley Brantley and Dorothy Lamm Brantley; his daughter Becky Lynn Brantley; and his sister Wendy Lynn Brantley. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Brantley, Tammy Thompson (Mallie) and Beverly Price (Steven); his former wife Rose Brantley; his siblings, Debbie Joyner (Jerry), Katie Brantley, Joyce Hawley (Tony), Dennis Brantley (Dianne) and David Brantley (Margaret); his grandchildren, Austin, Madison, Jared Thompson, Justin, Zoey, Cloey Brantley, Abbi, Adrianna Cook, Mirna, Jay Chavez and Nicholas Sanchez; and his great grandchildren, Paisley Bulluck and Julian Chavez.
