She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert "Leamon" Jones, Jr.; her parents, Alvin Ballance and Ida Ballance; and her great grandchild Madalynn Jones. She is survived by: her sons, Bobby Jones (Suzi), Michael Jones (Sherri) and David Jones (Mary); her grandchildren, Hayden Jones (Christina), Ethan Jones (Mary), Ryan Jones (Jara), Corey Jones, Lane Jones, Zoey Jones (Tyler Rogers) and Krista Jones; her great grandchildren, Isaiah Jones, John Jones, Dawson Jones, Grayson Jones, Elizabeth Jones, Jade Jones and Lennon Jones; and her siblings, Thomas Alvin "Tommy" Ballance, Jr. (Kay) and Mary Jo Pittman.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joyner's Funeral Home (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896).
