With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Becky Ellen Ammons (Black Mountain, North Carolina), who passed away on September 10, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Carol Harwood; and her siblings, Steven Brouster, Julie Evans and Lori Jackson. She is survived by: her father Basil Harwood; her husband Dwain Ammons; her daughter Natasha Ammons (Ryan Soper); her granddaughters, Riley and Aubrey Soper; and her siblings, Lisa Jernegan (Ronald Jernegan), Jeff Brouster (Monica Brouster) and Mark Harwood (Donna Harwood). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Harwood Home For Funerals (208 W State St, Black Mountain, NC 28711). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (962 Old US Hwy 70, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
