Carol touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. She is survived by: her husband C. Michael Sobol; her siblings, Diane Ganz (Bob), Cliff Eubank (Theresa) and Paul Eubank; her sisters-in-law, Susan Watkins and Shirley Sobol; and her children, Lindsey, Amy and Michael. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. James Episcopal Church (424 W State St, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pisgah Legal Services or St. James Episcopal Church.
