It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn White (Black Mountain, North Carolina), who passed away on March 16, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Rufus Brown; her husband William "Bill" Harrison White; her son Terry L. White; and her sisters, Mary Brown, Betty McDonald and Geneva Brown Morris.

She is survived by : her children, Mark White (Delores) and Joyce Greene (Joe) of Black Mountain; her daughter-in-law Patricia White (Terry) of Marion; her siblings, Rufus J. Brown of Nebo, Lucille White of Swannanoa, Carnilla Jones and John Brown (Irene) of Black Mountain; her grandchildren, Terry J. Robinson (Meghan Wells), Klayton White, Hunter White, Samantha Vess and Krystal Roland (Frank); and her great grandchildren, Nathan White and Lane Roland.
