Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Charles touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He is survived by: his parents, Max Gough and Portia Gough; his grandmother Aeline Penley; his sister Julia Ledesma; his brother-in-law Santiago Ledesma; his sibling's children, Nicolas and Magdalena; and his aunt Jeanette Grant.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Groce Funeral Home - Patton Ave. (1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Gashes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
