It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Martin Shaw (Black Mountain, North Carolina), who passed away on August 10, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Benjamin Maner Martin and Margaret Jackson Martin. She is survived by : her husband Bob Shaw of Black Mountain; her son John Martin Shaw (Dorothy Shaw) of Cary, NC; her sister Margaret Martin of Charlotte; her daughter Betsy Shaw Brown (Keith Brown) of Greenville, SC.; her grandchildren, Ashley Brown, Katherine Hardymon (Bennett Hardymon), Douglas Shaw and Andrew Shaw; and her brothers-in-law, Tom Shaw (Tommie Shaw) and David Shaw (Millie Shaw). She is also survived by nephews, nieces and spouses, and their extended families.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be sent to Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry or Montreat Presbyterian Church.
