He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Peters and Beverly Caufield Peters; and his brother Bill Peters. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Whitaker Peters; his children, Jenna Peters (Adam) of Wapakoneta and Alexander Peters of Troy, Ohio; his stepchildren, Angela Thomas (Mark) of Lombard and Jeffrey Adams of Temperance, Michigan; and his brother James Peters (Cheryl) of Lima, Ohio.. He is also survived by five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one step great-grandson.
