It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Jean Bowlin of Black Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Torrence Taylor and Hazel Taylor; and her siblings, Carolyn Welch and Thomas Taylor. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Townsend (Marcus), Eddie Bowlin, Shannon Bowlin (Shelly) and Timmy Bowlin (Shannon); her grandchildren, Aaron, Bradley, Logan, Devon, Madison and Chase; her great grandchildren, Nathan and Emmy; and her brother William Taylor (Juliet).
