He is survived by: his wife Jeanette F. Reid of Black Mountain, NC; his stepchildren, Liza Clechenko, James S. Reid and Andrew R. Reid of Baltimore, MD; his daughter-in-law Sherri McCullough; his cousin John Brooks; and his pet Rudy.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (962 Old US Hwy 70, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
