He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy James and Belle Stribling Ellison; and his siblings, Roy J. Ellison, Jr., Paul Ellison, Virginia Evans and Marianne Bartram.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Dacus; his daughters, Amy Ellison (Brendan Gardiner) of Chicago, Illinois. and Jennifer Ellison (David Stinton) of Chicago, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Rudden, Jack and Agnes Gardiner; and his brother Thomas Ellison. He is also survived by his wife, daughters and grandchildren.
