He is survived by: his son Stuart Hicks (Sandi) of Pineola, NC; his stepdaughters, Diane Leyting (John) of Smyrna, GA and Debbie Miller (Tim) of Old Fort, NC; his grandchildren, Stuart, Tyler, Jack, Jennifer and Emily; his great grandchildren, Layton, Jax, Kaeley, Ella and Chloe; and his sister Linda Elrod of Gold Hill, NC.
