It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James W. Hutchins of Black Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on June 10, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lee and Edith Lyda Hutchins; and his sisters, Barbara Jean, Ruth Ann Hutchins, Mary "Sis" Creasman, Nancy Bartlett and Betty Bartlett.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hutchins; his children, Barbara Canfield (Kerry) and James Hutchins; his siblings, Elaine Pressley (Ronnie) and Robert Hutchins (Wanda); and his grandchildren, Sasha Pressley (Brent) and Justin Hutchins. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
