Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joyce Moore Pertiller of Black Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 85, on March 27, 2023. She was predeceased by : her parents, Guy Moore and Janie Moore; her husband Archie C. Pertiller, Sr.; and her sisters, Julia Hooper, Mary Margaret Avery, Ruth Swepson, Lucille Blocker, Dorcus Jean McCullough and Pauline Moore Berry.

She is survived by : her sons, Archie C. Pertiller, Jr. (Angie) of Black Mountain and Arthur C. Pertiller (Kim) of Marion; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Berry, Melanie Scales (Lamont), Adrienne Weir (Stephen), Renee Vessels, Machelle Parker, Arlisa Pertiller, Arthur C. Pertiller, Jr., Sophia Pertiller and Maggie G. Pertiller. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
