He is survived by: his brother-in-law Charles Norman; his nieces, Sherri McRoberts, Terri Norman and Lauri Nichols; his great-niece Madison McRoberts; and his great-nephews, Taylor McRoberts, Dylan Nichols and Max Nichols.
The military honors was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (962 Old US Hwy 70, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
