He was predeceased by: his parents, Ila Mae and John Avery; and his pets, Felix, Sasha and Tabitha.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his siblings, Bill and Sandy (Bill); his sister-in-law Pam (Steve); his siblings' children, Jennifer (Cesar), Paul (Lizzie) and Kristin (Jacob); and his great-nephews, Spencer, Parker, Hunter, Eli and Ezra.
