With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Damon of Black Mountain, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 23, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald John Damon; her parents, Oscar Livingston Parton and Hallie Beeler Parton; and her siblings, Nell Smith, Ronnie, Walt, Bruce, Cy, Ed and Vantoy Parton.

She is survived by: her siblings, Joyce Parton, Ralph Parton of Maynardville, TN and James Parton; her stepchildren, Cory Damon and Kimberly Blenner of Sacramento, CA; and her niece Connie Jones (Dennis) of Whittier, NC. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
