She was predeceased by: her parents, Emily Nisbet Morrison and William Harvey Morrison, Jr.; and her brother William Harvey Morrison III. She is survived by: her husband Tom; her daughters, Emily Noe of Southport, NC and Maribeth Prosser (Blake) of Charlotte, NC; her siblings, Elizabeth (Libby) Bowers (Ron) of Salisbury, NC and Robert Morrison (Janice) of Monroe, NC; her sister-in-law Judy Morrison of Asheville, NC; and her friends, Paula Williams and Mary Elizabeth Banks. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Black Mountain Presbyterian Church (117 Montreat Rd, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
In her memory, the family suggests donations be made to the Asheville Humane Society, a cause near and dear to Marian's heart, or to the SECU Center for MemoryCare.
