With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Master Roger Nelson of Black Mountain, North Carolina, born in Escalon, California, who passed away on February 9, 2024 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Master Roger Nelson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Helen Elizabeth and Quentin William Nelson; his wife Caroline Jean Nelson (CJ); his granddaughter Amanda Hess; and his grandfather Lettola.

He is survived by : his children, Lisa Harris, Tina Maria Nelson-Moss (Scott), Helen Nelson and Travis Nelson; his brothers, Michael Nelson and Martin Nelson (Jane); his grandchildren, Jessika Hess, Shannon McBrien, Adam, Alexa Moss and Logan Nelson; his great grandchild Kameron Hess; his niece Amanda (Braithwaite); and his nephew Peter Nelson.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Wounded Warrior Project in memory of him.
