He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy H. Cohea and Winnie Cohea; his sons, Kenneth Allen Cohea and George Cohea; his wife Martha Cohea; and his siblings, Ginger Graves and Sandy Cohea.
He is survived by: his son Mark Cohea; his daughter-in-law Nicole Cohea of Sapphire, NC; his grandchildren, Savannah Cohea of Toxaway, NC and Connor Cohea of Sapphire, NC; his stepdaughter Lisa Strickland; his stepgrandsons, Shane and Joshua Strickland; his siblings, Larry Cohea, Jerry Cohea, Rodney Cohea (Loretta) and Marjorie Cohea-Johns; and his pet Misty. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Harwood Home For Funerals (208 W State St, Black Mountain, NC 28711). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (962 Old US Hwy 70, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
