She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Alberta Brayton and Jahn A. Moran of Washington; her former husband Dr. Charles C. Talley; her sister-in-law Ann Carrier Green; and her husband Dr. Jerry M. Newbold.
She is survived by: her children, Charles F. Talley (Marriette van der Sluijs) and Katherine Talley Manning (Stevens); her grandchildren, Forrest, Lily Talley, Claire, Alexander and Jonathan Manning; her brother Jack Moran (LeEsta); her children, John (Cesira) and Shari (Tony); and her stepdaughters, Marti Newbold (Mark), Fran Mohr (Karl) and Becca Dion (Kyle).
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Black Mountain Presbyterian Church (117 Montreat Rd, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Black Mountain Presbyterian Church or Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry (SVCM) in Pat's memory.
