He is survived by: his son Dan Burnette (Angela Roberts Smith).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM at the First Christian Church (201 Blue Ridge Rd, Black Mountain, NC 28711). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
