With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Edgar Callihan (Black Mountain, North Carolina), born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on September 4, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Annie Callihan and Jack Callihan; and his former life partner Karen Callihan. He is survived by : his children, Robert Callihan, Jr. and Melinda Callihan; his grandchildren, Ivory, Connor and Grace Anne; and his wife Jeanie Callihan.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Bob's memory to PBS North Carolina, an organization that held a special place in his heart.
