He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Garrison and Beulah Garrison; and his siblings, Hattie Louise Garrison, Martha Ann Reagan, George M. Garrison, Ned H. Garrison and William "Bill" Garrison.
He is survived by: his sisters, Earline Owenby and Rowena Rodgers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
