He was predeceased by : his parent Ralph H. Sapp; his wife Grace Sapp; and his siblings, Janie Duggins, Henry Sapp, Benjamen Sapp, Homer Sapp and Otis Sapp.
He is survived by : his children, Sharon Sapp of Black Mountain, Denny Driver of Black Mountain, Melissa Gibson of Huntingdon, England, Brenda Thornburg of Black Mountain and Michael Sapp (Barbara); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Vaughan (Dickson), Matthew Sapp, Emily Driver, Erin Crump (Jeff), Erica Driver (Patrick), Amanda Young (Paul), Michelle Gibson and Marie Gibson (Rory); his great grandchildren, Charles, Thomas, Rayna, Eudora, Keegan, Kaleb, Aubrey, Noah and Oscar; and his friend Michael Holtzman.
