She was predeceased by: her parents, George Franklin Benson and Christine Outlaw Benson; her husband Bob O'Briant; and her sisters, Shirley Smith and Glenda Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Chris O'Briant (Crystal), Tim O'Briant (Caroline), Robert O'Briant (Jeana) and Malinda O'Briant. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
