He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Burney and June Godwin Burney; and his sister Regina Pait. He is survived by: his brothers, Keith Burney (Sharon) of Bladenboro, Dwayne Burney (Karen) of Bladenboro and Brian Pait (Kristy) of Bladenboro; his aunts, Catherine Hester Burney, Wanda Singletary (Ronald) and Linda Finley; his nieces, Crystal White (Gary), Jessica Burney, Paige Burney, Lauren Burney and Amber Pait; his nephew Franklin Pait; his great-nieces, Peyton Burney and Ava White; his great-nephew Chase White; his godchild Essance Murphy (Maria Bennett); and his friends, Keith and Sharon Burney. He is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Bladenboro Chapel of Bladen Gaskins (800 N Main St, Bladenboro, NC 28320). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Hester Cemetery.
