He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey Caison Bridger; and his sister Anne Bridger McLean. He is survived by: his sons, Dr. Dewey Herbert Bridger, III of Wilmington, Claude Caison Bridger (Cissie) of Wilmington and Dickson Butler Bridger (Dorothy) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Audrey Bacot Bridger Dinchak (Jon), William Stuart Bridger, Leslie Bridger Carse (Kyle), Caroline Caison Bridger, Dickson Butler Bridger, Jr. (Courtney) and Michael Ward Bridger; and his great grandchildren, Leslie Beecher Carse "Elsie" and William Dewey Carse. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
