She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alton Oldham and Thelma Gooch Oldham; her husband Chuck Field; her sister Helen Ellis; and her great grandchild Maddie Parnell.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Hester (Melba) of Shannon, Jeffrey Field of Michigan, Donna Lynn Parnell (Andy), Wendy Hester of Tennessee and Jennifer Taylor (Frankie) of Bladenboro; her sister Becky Ann Oldham (John) of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Joshua Parnell, Zachary Parnell, John McPherson, Marcus Hester (Alanna), Aaron Hester, Chase Taylor (Katie), Lauren Taylor, MaKayla Mote (Josh) and Brooklynn Field; and her great grandchildren, Tristian Parnell, Channing Sanderson, Jacob Sanderson, Kaisley Taylor, Presley Taylor and Colton Sykes.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home & Cremation Services (3131 M. L. K. Dr, Elizabethtown, NC 28337). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
