He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Freeman; his daughters, Sonja Love of Durham, NC and Yolanda Freeman of Bladenboro, NC; and his siblings, Johnas Freeman, Parst Freeman of Bladenboro, NC and Bern Scipio of Maryland.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (521 M. L. K. Jr Dr, Bladenboro, NC 28320). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
