With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maty Willoughby Anderson of Bladenboro, North Carolina, who passed away on September 21, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Willoughby and Maggie Willoughby (Cecil Anderson); and her siblings, Albert Willoughby, Alfred Willoughby, Ira Willoughby, Willie Willoughby and Mamie Tedder.
She is survived by: her brother Frank (Nyoka) of Bladenboro; her children, Steve (Amanda) of Bladenboro and Judy (Terry) of Bladenboro; her grandchildren, Stephanie (Steve) of Bladenboro, Scott (Tiffany) of Faith, Jessica (Joey) of Bladenboro, Nick of Bladenboro, Owen (Tyler) of Elizabethtown and Kassi (Chris) of Bladenboro; and her great grandchildren, Kaden, Makenna, Brody, Tyler, Carley, Ella, Emmie, Hudson, Alex and Colton.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:15 PM at the New Light Church (103 Chestnut St, Bladenboro, NC 28320). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:15 PM at the Memory Lane Cemetery.
