He was predeceased by: his parents, Buster Long and Louise Greene Long; and his wives, Elaine Bekker Long and Katherine Hall Long. He is survived by: his children, Robert Long (Nancy) of Tennessee, Rhonda Jenkins (Glenn) of Jacksonville, Michelle Spell (Allen) of Clement, Carolyn Manikas of Bladenboro and David Hord (Shannon) of Waxhaw; his close friends, Toni and Buddy Strickland of White Lake; and his caregivers, Camryn Horton, April Martin and Ruthie Bellamy.
