He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Miles Bryan and Bessie Taylor Butler; and his brother Heulon Bryan. He is survived by: his wife Helen Dove Bryan; his children, Marlon Bryan, Wanda B. Hester (M. J.) of Bladenboro, Patsy B. Teachey of White Lake, Janet Chihocky (Gilbert) of Virginia and Dianne B. Dougherty (Mike) of Florida; and his siblings, Tony Bryan (Brenda) of Jacksonville, Mazelle Deaver of Virginia, Melville Simmons of Florida and Carnelle Pait of Bladenboro. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
