He was predeceased by: his parents, Shelley Howard Crumpton, Sr. and Ruby Simpson Crumpton. He is survived by: his wife Linda Blalock Crumpton; his sons, Charles Sherwood Crumpton, Jr. (Chuck) and David S. Crumpton of Blanch, NC; his grandchildren, Katie Crumpton (Paula), Charles Crumpton, III (Taylor) and Allison Waller (Daniel); and his great grandchild Sutton Waller.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the David's Home. A graveside service was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Hope United Methodist Church (465 Longs Mill Rd, Blanch, NC 27212). A reception was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Fellowship Hall (230 Bryant Ave, Danville, VA 24540).
