It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hazel Buck of Blounts Creek, North Carolina, born in Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Thurman Theodore Walls and Mary Edna Lewis; her spouse Willie Ray Buck; her siblings, Donald Walls and Myrna Ruth Cadwell; her son-in-law John Mark Ansley; and her grandson Tony Lee Gordon.

She is survived by : her sisters, June White (Melvin) of Corepoint, NC and Mary Frances Cayton (Guy) of Winston Salem, NC.; her daughters, Sandra Buck Dumpor (Samir) of Blounts Creek, Connie Buck Ansley of Blounts Creek, Beverly Buck Bower of Decatur, GA and Susan Buck McClure (Chris) of Slippery Rock, PA; her grandchildren, Landon Ray Gordon (Kim) of Washington, NC, Billy Franklin Gordon, Jr., Anna Mariah Eagleston, Jacob Deacon Grover and Hannah LeNay Grover; and her great grandchildren, Haven Davina Gordon, Charlotte Rae Gordon, Meghan Kei Gordon and Lochlan Christoff-Grover. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
