She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ramos Jenkins and Rosa Hardy Jenkins; her former husband Edward Manning of Martin County; her husband William A. Phillips of Washington; her son Russell Manning; and her grandson Shane Manning.
She is survived by: her children, Ramos Manning (Susan), Norman Manning (Sandy) and Phyllis Manning (Julie); her grandchildren, Melissa Manning-Moore, Leiza Manning, Tiffany Manning Strehl and Bentley Manning; and her brother Ottis Whisenant of Chocowinity. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
