She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hayden McGhinnis and Sally Hodges McGhinnis; her former husband Herman Hollars; her husband Joe Hollars; her grandson Seth Landon Hollars; and her siblings, Virgie Grove, Robert, Winfred and Marion McGhinnis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Greene (Dean) of Blowing Rock and Sandra Hollars of Blowing Rock; her grandchildren, Lindsey Greene of Blowing Rock, Anna Greene (Dylan) and Hunter Clough (Victoria) of Collettsville; and her great grandchildren, Emmy Greene and River Clough. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (6578 James E Holshouser Jr Hwy, Blowing Rock, NC 28605).
