We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2025, at the age of 82, Rita Morrison Wiseman of Blowing Rock, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Rita Morrison find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr James Rudy Morrison and Agnes Marie Morrison. She is survived by: her children, Keith Wiseman, Jr. (Barry Roberts), Kate Wiseman (Robbie Dunn) and Lynne Wiseman (Nicole Blankenbeckler); and her nephews, Brad Wiseman, Jason Wiseman and Rolf Carle.
The lying in state was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Troutman Funeral Home (345 N Main St, Troutman, NC 28166). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church (525 Camden Dr, Statesville, NC 28677). A burial was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery (114 N Oakwood Dr, Statesville, NC 28677).
