With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Younce Caldwell of Blowing Rock, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 8, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Younce and Ethel Hollar Younce; her husband Gaius Caldwell; and her siblings, Helen Johnson (Roy) and Billie Younce (Hazel).
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Caldwell (Amy Mills) of Park City, UT and Scott Caldwell (Johnsie) of Blowing Rock; her sister-in-law Willa Vay Beal; her grandchildren, Shelley Caldwell, Derek Caldwell, Dawn Taylor (Jason), Kelly Harding (Shawn) and Alescia Caldwell; and her great grandchildren, Aubree, Kaylyn (Zach), Jason Josiah, Chloe, Reagan, Jaxon, Amirynn, Ariella and Xander of Stephen's Lutheran Church.
