He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Simmons and Salema Ivey; and his sister Harriet Wilson. He is survived by: his daughter Kristy S. Bias; and his grandson Coby Bias. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Peacock, Newnam & White Funeral Home (1411 N Howe St, Southport, NC 28461).
