He was predeceased by : his parents, Vance Martin Davis and Nora Ethel Buff Davis; and his siblings, Jimmy Davis, Louise Gosnell, Reverend Bill Davis, Paul Davis, Reverend Alfred Davis, Margaret Franklin and Reverend Donald Davis.

He is survived by : his children, Saundra Adams and Craig Davis (Katrina) of Asheville; his brother Reverend Gerry Davis; his grandchildren, Kyle Davis, William Adams, Amanda Adams and Laura Morrow; and his great grandchild Jett Jackson.
