He was predeceased by: his parents, George Philip Meyer and Margaret Ryan Meyer; his wife Catherine Meyer; and his brothers, George Meyer and Harold Meyer.

He is survived by: his son Michael G. Meyer (Judy) of Bolivia, NC; his grandson Paul Meyer (Marnay) of Silver Spring, MD; and his great grandchild Brendan Meyer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and his cat.
