He was predeceased by : his wife Joan Queen Setzer; and his brother O'Dell Sinclair Setzer Jr.. He is survived by : his children, Joe Ben Setzer Jr. (Bonny), Jason Setzer, Jill Setzer Arnold (Steve), Joan Setzer Hoyt (Howie) and Jacob Setzer; his girlfriend Wilma B. Caldwell; and his partner's sons, Jeremy (Sam) and Jeff (Kristy). He is also survived by grandchildren.
